Semester / Course Registration
Semester Registration/ (i- daftar) refers to a student registering himself/herself for every semester. It is compulsory for a current student to self-register at the beginning of every semester as stipulated by the University. Student Registration for current student can be done on line through the University official website.
Students can refer to the Academic Calendar at CGS website to identify the dates to do so.
Please ensure your Outstanding Tuition Fee is RM 0.00 and you must have paid the Semester Fee in order for you to access the Student Portal.

A student who fails to do semester registration/ i-daftar will be fined:

1. Go to www.studentportal.unisel.edu.my.
2. Then click Student Portal Login and you can see CLICK HERE to Login Unisel’s Student Portal. (http://estudent.unisel.edu.my/eStudent/index.jsp)
3. Key-in Student Id (Your Matrix Num) and Password
4. Find for the following statement: Your registration for this semester is via BESTARI Click
5. Register for the current semester
Course Registration
All students are required to register for every course stipulated in the programme offered in each semester. It is compulsory for a student to register courses offered by the University within the specified period before the final examination.
Students can refer to the Academic Calendar at CGS website to identify the dates to do so. Course registration can be done through student portal and it depends on total number of minimal credit for the long/short semester respectively. Please refer to Table 9.1: Total Number of Credits Allowed (Handbook of Academic Regulations).
A student who fails to register for any course will be fined RM20 for each day up to a maximum of RM400 for every course.
Procedure to do course registration:
1. Go to www.studentportal.unisel.edu.my.
2. Then click Student Portal Login and you can see CLICK HERE to Login Unisel’s Student Portal.
3. Key-in Student Id (Your Matrix Num) and Password
4. Find for the following statement:
“You do not have any registered courses for this semester Click“
5. Then, register your course/subject accordingly.
6. Finally, LOGOUT
