Master of Political Science

The main objective of this course is to produce graduates who are trained and capable of applying their skills and knowledge of political science-related fields. This course is also an excellent preparation for further research of PhD level or for a career in politics, academic, public administration or the private sectors.This program is also designed to produce knowledgeable graduates in administration, diplomatic and domestic relations as well as policy makers.

• Graduate Marketability Study (service fields that require graduates of this program)The proposal to develop this program is to provide opportunities for Bachelor graduates including politicians, think tanks, political analysts, managers and administrators in the public and private sectors, teaching staff in higher education institutions, public, private and non-governmental organizations in studying knowledge related to political science. In general, the projected career after graduation covers the following fields:
  I) Management
  II) Administration
  III) Political Analyst
  IV) Think Tank
  V) Education and training
  VI) Publishing and writing
  VII) Consulting and advisory services; as well as
  VIII) various positions in the public, private and non-governmental sectors.

• A bachelor Degree with at least CGPA 2.75 or equivalent, as approved by UNISEL Senate; OR A Bachelor Degree with CGPA at least 2.50 but not achieving 2.75 can be accepted to enroll in the program subject to the detailed internal evaluation of the UNISEL Senate.
• A Bachelor Degree with CGPA at least 2.50 but not achieving 2.75 can be accepted to enroll in the program subject to the detailed internal evaluation of the UNISEL Senate.
• A Bachelor Degree or other equivalent qualification with CGPA less than 2.50 can be accepted with minimum of 5 years working experience in related field.
