Initially Dr. Norazlina was an engineer involved with injection moulding (plastic manufacturing) and pharmaceutical industries after her graduation in Chemical Engineering (from Universiti Sains Malaysia) in year 1999. After she received her Master in Science (Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia) in year 2005, she joined academic line became a lecturer in International University College of Technology Twintech (IUCTT) in Bandar Sri Damansara. Currently, she is a lecturer and a researcher in Universiti Selangor since 2008. She starts her work in Faculty of Biotechnology and Life Sciences and become Head of Program (Diploma in Aquaculture) and in year 2016, she received her Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering (Universiti Teknologi Mara) and holding a position a Program Coordinator (Bachelor of Science (Honours) Industrial Technology). She is also Managing Editor of Asian Journal Life Sciences (AJLS) and reviewer of Journal of Oil Palm Research (JOPR). To date, she has published fifteen (15) papers in both international and local journals. Apart from that, Norazlina is the Principal Researcher for numerous grants for example RM83K for fundamental research grant Scheme (FRGS) by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), RM30K for Innovation and Research by Selangor State Government (GPNS), RM8k for Bestari Research Grant (GPB) by Unisel. She is also a member of other four (4) grants namely GPB, two (2) GPNS grants and four (4) MBI grants. Her interest and passion in research and innovation made her the recipients of several award winnings including gold, silver and bronze medals in innovation competitions in national level. On top of that, she is successfully received two (2) copyrights and one (1) trademark for various research projects from Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO). Last but not least, she is an Associate Member of Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and member of professional bodies namely Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT).
