Astri Yulia is a Senior Lecturer in the Language Education Department of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences at University Selangor, Malaysia. She has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction awarded by Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA. Astri has an experience working with children with reading and learning problems to identify the language difficulties and to design suitable instructional materials. Besides, she is actively involved in investigating issues in the area of language acquisition, literacy development, communication skills, assessments, and technology adoption in education.
