Brief Biography

My first passion in Chemistry raised from the way of delivery of knowledge by my Chemistry teacher from MRSM Perlis, which bring me to enrol in the similar field for my Bachelor Degree. Intrigued with one of biotechnology labs in UTM, I explored two other disciplines, i.e. green chemistry and environmental biotechnology. After completing my master study in 2001, I joined Universiti Selangor. As the institution was still at infant stage at
that time, together with a number of staff, we developing the procedures, policies etc. in order to strategize and positioning the University at par with other higher institutions, without leaving behind my interest in those two areas. Currently, I am the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Life Sciences. At this moment, me and my faculty members are focusing on development of TVET programs.
