A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a beginning single step. God wills, we are on the right track, and we have got run over. Consistently, we have upgraded academics competencies and qualifications. As Selangor’s only state owned-university, Universiti Selangor always remains committed to giving full attention to our efforts of producing leaders in various disciplines. In the practice of being a Leader of Transformation, as clearly voice out by President & Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohammad Redzuan Othman Universiti Selangor has been able to produce thousands of professionals and scholars with high morals and ethical values. Indeed, this achievement is because of the blessing from Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful

At Unisel, Centre for Graduate Studies (CGS) contributes to the university strategic development. CGS works closely with all university faculties to develop postgraduate education, to enrich academic experience, and to ensure the important phases of scholarly and personal life of our students are exciting and meaningful. Through the university faculties, CGS offers many programmes which are managed by highly qualified, matured, and experienced faculty members.

However, our journey has not ended yet. Sometimes, the journey is not as easy as people think but also it is not as disputed as some media exposed. When prime media might broadcast something unfavoured, we are as academics always think their minor voice is forgivable because they are our friends. Correction and supervision do much, but encouragement does more. We accept that voice as an encouragement and we always dare to tell the truth and will be the Leader of Transformation.

This is truly an exciting time of development and growth. We assure you, we are committed to help develop your passion for the grand challenges await. We also promise you, our graduate programmes are of the highest quality and are built on a foundation of excellence and innovation. When we play our role, we have the means to communicate with the peers and we have an understanding of what we are going through. Every of us must think about the achievement and the giving benefits to the human being.

Let’s make our intention sincere, be high-quality in working with less supervision, practice what we preach, take the initiative, get involved in the community, and support each other. Our faith provides a well-defined comprehensive way of life in which people are not only adhering to principles but, most importantly, acting on these principles and turning them into purposeful deeds and achievements.
